Moon Haven's Achy Breaky Essential Oil blend has been formulated with anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and analgesic essential oils to help soothe aches and pains in joints and muscles.

TOP TIP:  Use a drop or two to boost the effect of Moon Haven's St John's Wort & Calendula Rub

For small areas - such as a shoulder, neck or lower back area just mix 5 drops of the blend with 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of a carrier oil or moisturising cream and apply to the sore areas.

For larger areas make a massage oil of 10 drops of blend for 20 ml of carrier oil 

Handy hint: If you are experiencing pain in your shoulder or arm it would be worthwhile also applying any massage medium to the neck area as well.

Similarly if you are experiencing pain in your hip, leg or foot we'd recommend rubbing some of the massage medium to your lower back.

Based on the ultimate feminine booster, Clary Sage Essential Oil, Prelude blend was initially formulated for use during labour. (It is included in our Labour of Love Birthing Kit).

During labour
It was formulated to help soothe excited nerves and instill a sense of  patience and resolve as the soon-to-be mum enters the initial stages of labour.

Can be helpful at times of hormonal change
Yet so many of our moonies have chosen to use this oil blend to help them with hormone and emotional regulation, especially at times of hormonal stress and change (read puberty and menopause)

The resultant birth blends are:

• Prelude for the first stages and after the birth
• In the Moment for the later stages of labour and the actual birth

Based on uplifting Mandarin both blends are delightful on their own  but come into their own when they are combined. As Prelude tapers off  and In the Moment takes over the scents released are quite amazing.
