My husband has used it for years now for his sensitive scalp. Works really well.
Picked up my parcel from the post office and could already smell the fragrance before opening it.
Some of us sail through menopause... and others... well it can be a very difficult time.
Mood swings,
hot flushes,
palpitations
aches and pains.
The list goes on.
Aromatherapy can be so helpful when times get tough.
Of course the aromatherapy world has some wonderful menopause helpers. Some of the most noted are:
Clary Sage
Rose Absolute (3% in Jojoba Oil)
Ylang Ylang
Peppermint
can all assist in helping to improve the impact of the hormonal upheaval experienced in menopause.
Clary Sage is a wonderful oil for helping to deal with a host of menopause symptoms.
It's particularly great for helping to deal with hot flushes.
Just add a drop or two to a tissue and inhale slowly 2 or three times when a flash overtakes you..
Alternatively you can add a couple of drops to a 1/2 teaspoon of carrier oil or unscented cream and apply to the back of the neck.
Another idea if you're in a rush just place a drop of neat oil to the hair near your temples and breathe in deeply.(Don't apply directly to your skin)
Noted for its rich, floral and deeply-rosy aroma, Rose Absolute is the ultimate femininity booster.
In a small but significant study it was found that inhaling a combination of Rose and Geranium oils boosted estrogen levels in the saliva in perimenopausal women, helping to ease symptoms.
Rose Absolute is well known for its stress relieving and mood uplifting potential. Try blending it with Clary Sage and Ylang Ylang as a menopause helper.
This wonderfully floral oil is noted for its stress relieving and libido improving properties.
Traditionally the flowers are scattered on the beds of newlyweds to enhance fertility and lovemaking.
Traditionally Ylang Ylang has been used in menopausal blends to help with reducing stress, balancing hormones and increasing libido.
Blend Ylang Ylang Pure Essential Oil with Clary Sage and Lavender and diffuse in living areas or the office to help calm and restore.
Most menopausal women just love peppermint oil. Not only is it uplifting, helps with headaches and that heavy fog like feeling in our brains...it is brilliant for cooling us down if we are experience an energy burst.
Peppermint oil scan burn the skin especially if it is applied to any delicate areas. To avoid this always dilute peppermint oil in either a carrier oil or unscented cream, 2 or 3 drops in 1//2 a teaspoon of base applied to the back of the neck and the wrists can work wonders.
