How to use:
For great results:
- Rub the shampoo bar over your wet hair a few times,
- Wet again and lather up.
- Rinse clear
- Add a vinegar rinse (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water- we make enough to last several weeks and keep it in the shower in a plastic squirty bottle for ease of application).
- Rinse again - voila beautiful clean silky hair.
- You may like to use a conditioner ever few weeks to treat your hair but it is not necessary.

Itchy scalps were a common theme at the moon haven cottage.
These are the types of issues we love to tackle. Helping our wonderful moonies ot live a fuller and more natural life is what floats our boat.
So when we had numerous requests for a shampoo that would help ease the dry scalps and the associated itchiness we leapt into action.
Immediately we knew that we needed to make a soao bar that was extremely gentle on the scalp - one that would irritate or dry the skin.
We realised that choosing the base oils of the soap was the key.
Immediately we settled on jojoba oil - while more a wax than an oil Johoba is the nearest thing to our natural skin oil. It's soothing properties along with castor oil are what sets Silken Shampoo bar apart from many other solid shampoo bars.
We think they are our-not-so-secret weapon in our bid to soothe irritated scalps!

We like to think that our soaps are living, breathing creatures sharing their beauty with the world.
And like any living creature, there are things we can do to help them share their best with you:
1. Don't drown your soap. Store your soap on a well drained soap rack rather than an enclosed soap dish - unless you like soggy, squishy soap!
2. Allow your soap to breathe in between uses. The drier it gets, the longer it will last.
3. Use a wash cloth, bag or puff to extend the life of your soap rather than rubbing the bar all over yourself.
4. Use your soap within 8 to 12 months of purchase to get the freshest, most vibrant experience.
5. Share the love (and the soap scents) with your clothes. Keep any extra bars of soap in your clothes drawers or linen closet and dive in when you need a fresh bar. You keep the soap away from light and heat and your clothes smell amazing!
