  • We suggest applying a small amount of the Chickweed & Plantain Salve to these places. 
  • Using the popstick provided just scrape out a small amount and apply to the affected areas. 
  • Do not rub or stimulate the skin as this can increase any irritation. 
  • Allow the salve to absorb over a few minutes. 
  • If you find that there is excess oil on the skin, after say 10 minutes then remember to use less next time

THE CHICKWEED & PLANTAIN STORY

Making this salve was a life changer for our founder. Leonie suffered from nasty contact dermatitis on her hands and feet from using liquid body washes.

Weeds to the rescue

She went to see Nerys Purchon - her herbal mentor - who recommend that she look for 2 particularly powerful weeds that would help calm and heal her skin. Chickweed and Plantain.

Wildcrafting & infusing 

Both of these "weeds" were growing in the waste grounds around moon haven and Leonie set about wildcrafting them, drying and then infusing the herbs in wonderful sunflower and olive oil.  

Chickweed & Plantain Salve is born

She made these infusions onto a salve and voila... within a few days her hands and feet were much improved.
