We just love how the Lemongrass ( Cymbopogon flexuosus)and May Chang (Litsea cubeba) essential oils combine to make our most intense lemon soapy experience.

Lemongrass (also known as Cochin Grass)is one of nature's most uplifting oils. It has an intense lemony citrus scent with earthy undertones.
Lemongrass oil has been used to promote clear skin and low mood.
May Chang essential oil has an intense lemon zesty scent with floral accents which perfectly supports the overall lemon scent of our lemon & poppy seed soap. It has been used over the ages for its skin toning and antispasmodic properties.

*The palm oil we use in our gorgeous soaps helps to keep the bar long lasting and stops it from becoming mushy when wet.
Of course we are very environmentally conscious and use Segregated, Sustainable (SG) Palm Oil.

?Segregated Sustainable Palm Oil is Certified Sustainable Palm Oil which is segregated from non-certified oil at every stage of the supply chain.This means that the palm oil we use does not contribute to deforestation, the loss of rain forest. Our Lemon & Poppyseed soap is wonderful to use all over your body. in the shower, bath and basin.
- To exfoliate - just rub the bar over your wet skin.
Be Gentle - we're not after a sand paper effect.
- Use a wash cloth, mitt or puff if you just want to enjoy this gorgeous soap without exfoliating You need just a little soap on a wash cloth, wash puff or mitt to get a good suds up.
- Keep your soap out of water and as dry as possible between uses
We recommend you use a soap rack, Eco Soap Saver Bag or dish to help keep your soap as dry as possible
- To exfoliate - just rub the bar over your wet skin.

The Lemon & Poppyseed Soap Story
At Moon Haven we love borrowing ideas from our fields of delight...like cake baking.
The Lemon and Poppyseed Soap story starts with going out for morning tea and delighting in a stunningly morish orange and poppyseed cake.
It was moist, so very tasty and the scent was truly amazing. The poppyseeds gave the cake an amazing extra dimension - crunchy and a taste sensation of their own accord.
Of course an experience like this stirs any soap makers heart .
And the idea for a poppyseed soap was born. While an orange soap would have been poetic we decided that a truly lemon scented soap would accent the poppyseeds even more.
So our ever popular Lemon & Poppy Seed Soap was born.

Care and Feeding of Your Moon Haven Soap
We like to think that our soaps are living, breathing creatures sharing their beauty with the world.
And like any living creature, there are things we can do to help them share their best with you:
1. Don't drown your soap. Store your soap on a well drained soap rack rather than an enclosed soap dish - unless you like soggy, squishy soap!
2. Allow your soap to breathe in between uses. The drier it gets, the longer it will last.
3. Use a wash cloth, bag or puff to extend the life of your soap rather than rubbing the bar all over yourself.
4. Use your soap within 8 to 12 months of purchase to get the freshest, most vibrant experience.
5. Share the love (and the soap scents) with your clothes. Keep any extra bars of soap in your clothes drawers or linen closet and dive in when you need a fresh bar. You keep the soap away from light and heat and your clothes smell amazing!
