CALMING CLEANSER FOR DRY, MATURE or SENSITIVE SKIN

Recommended for dry/dehydrated/ mature skin. Rose geranium is noted for its’ skin balancing properties… among many other balancing acts it performs. With intensely nurturing herbs and skin cleansing oils this milk is gentle for the driest of skins.

Contains:

  • Rose Geranium Essential Oil for its balancing properties

  • MH's Skin Support Herbal Complex - to encourage cell renewal, vitality & longevity

  • Moisturising factors from Rose Hip, Wheat Germ, Avocado, Apricot Kernel and Almond oils

  • Herbal cleansing milk with Rose Geranium is recommended for our moonies with dry, sensitive or mature skin.

  1. Splash your face with warm water
  2. Apply a small amount of cleanser to your fingertips and gently apply to your face using upward strokes (you don’t want to drag your skin downwards – gravity does it enough already!)
  3. Massage your skin in a light circular motion for a few seconds
  4. Using warm water, rinse your face of all traces of cleanser
  5. Gently pat your face dry
  6. Optional: apply one of Moon Haven’s Facial Mists.
  7. Follow with your moon haven moisturiser of choice.

THE HERBAL CLEANING MILK WITH ROSE GERANIUM STORY

While I was only in my late 30's when we first made a version of this cleansing milk...my skin had started to show significant signs of ageing. 
Not only was my skin starting to wrinkle and sag,  I suffered from a sensitisation of the skin - Rosacea.
Cleansing my skin was difficult. Aggressive, detergent based cleansers stripped the natural oils from my face and set my rosacea off - reddening and burning my skin.

So I set about formulating a calming soothing solution. Based on our Skin Support Herbal Complex and wonderful soothing botanical oils  - Herbal Cleansing Milk with Rose Geranium has proven to be all I wanted (and more)  for myself...and my moonie family

We knew that formulating a cleanser for sensitive, mature and dry skin  had to revolve around the wonderful herbs in our Skin Support Herbal Complex. 

The complex includes the  lipophilic botanical extracts of Wild Yam, Calendula, Chamomile, Elder Flower, Gotu Kola, Lavender and St. John's Wort.

Each of these botanicals are noted for their skin saving and nurturing properties in their own right.  Combined their synergy makes for a potent anti-ageing brew indeed.
We included our Herbal Complex in our Moisture Cream with Rose Geranium making for the perfect partner to this cleanser

Love It

I love the creamy cleanser, it leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated and silky smooth. I follow it with the facial spray. I am very happy with the Moon Haven products.

One of my favourite products!

I love this cleansing milk. It doesn’t strip my skin and leaves it feeling soft and clean. I find that if I put it on before I get in the shower, I can give my face a little massage whilst I’m waiting for the water to warm. Then I wet my hands and really get in and clean all the dirt away. After rinsing with warm water, I wet a clean face flannel under hot water and hold it to my face for 5 seconds to totally relax all the muscles in my face. It’s a brilliant way to end my day. I almost feel like I’ve been to a spa! 🥰

Rose Geranium Herbal Cleansing Milk

I just absolutely love this cleanser. It does a brilliant job cleaning my face, but more importantly it doesn't leave a filmy residue, like others do. Being so light, I thought it wouldn't be good, but it is fabulous. And paired with the Bergamot Face Spray, I find for (even my mature skin), I get the very best results. Thank you Leonie.

We know what you mean when you thought that the RoseGer Cleansing Milk might be a 'bit light' it can fool you like that.
We formulated it so that it would not clog the skin but still cleanse deeply while retaining the natural oils in your skin.
