At moon haven we love Calendula... and it is the star in our wonderfully soothing, hypoallergenic eye cream.
You see when I was quite ill with a debilitating auto-immune condition. The delicate skin around my eyes was sore, inflamed, puffy. I looked exhausted and drained.
The delicate area around the eyes just wasn't being served by my moisturiser. Formulating Moon Havens Eye Cream.
So I set about formulating an eye cream that was not only deeply moisturising but helped to soothe the distressed skin.
Of course Calendula -the wonderful flower and herb - was the first ingredient that came to mind. Its strong anti-inflammatory and healing properties lends itself to an eye cream for distressed skin. Adding in rich Evening Primrose, Rose Hip and Jojoba oils made up a wonderfully nurturing formula.
Needless to say my skin loves this cream - along with so many of our wonderful moonies.
