At Moon Haven we are always looking for ways to make aromatherapy as accessible to our moonies as possible.

SOOTHE ACHING MUSCLES AND JOINTS

Moon Haven's Achy Breaky Essential Oil blend has been formulated with anti-inflammatory, anti-spasmodic and analgesic essential oils to help soothe aches and pains in joints and muscles.

TOP TIP:  Use a drop or two to boost the effect of Moon Haven's St John's Wort & Calendula Rub

For small areas - such as a shoulder, neck or lower back area just mix 5 drops of the blend with 10 ml (2 teaspoons) of a carrier oil or moisturising cream and apply to the sore areas.

For larger areas make a massage oil of 10 drops of blend for 20 ml of carrier oil 

Handy hint: If you are experiencing pain in your shoulder or arm it would be worthwhile also applying any massage medium to the neck area as well.

Similarly if you are experiencing pain in your hip, leg or foot we'd recommend rubbing some of the massage medium to your lower back,

Initially formulated for use during labour - this blend has become so popular with moonies using it everyday in their living spaces.

It is has formulated around the incredible uplifting mandarin, sweet orange and focusing power of Rosemary. 
The result - a gently grounding and focusing blend, fantastic for diffusing at work, in the study & classroom  spaces and of course ... during labour!

Based on the ultimate feminine booster, Clary Sage Essential Oil, Prelude blend was initially formulated for use during labour. (It is included in our Labour of Love Birthing Kit).

It was formulated to help soothe excited nerves and instill a sense of  patience and resolve as the soon-to-be mum enters the initial stages of labour.

Can be helpful at times of hormonal change
Yet so many of our moonies have chosen to use this oil blend to help them with hormone and emotional regulation, especially at times of hormonal stress and change (read puberty and menopause)

The resultant birth blends are:

• Prelude for the first stages and after the birth
• In the Moment for the later stages of labour and the actual birth

Based on uplifting Mandarin both blends are delightful on their own  but come into their own when they are combined.   As Prelude tapers off  and In the Moment takes over the scents released are quite amazing.

This beautiful blend of Ylang Ylang and citrus oils (including wonderful Bergamot) is both uplifting and serene. 

With such an exquisite scent, so many of our moonies are using Inner Peace as a basis for their personal perfume.

Combining the stress reducing properties of Ylang Ylang essential oil with the uplifitng aspects of both lemongrass and bergamot essential oils has provided our moonies with a truly immersive and calming experience when they use this blend.

Ylang Ylang is noted for helping with lowering stress levels, blood pressure and relaxation.
Bergamot for engendering a sense of optimism, Lemongrass for its ability to help enliven yet ground at the same time 

Bergamot Pure Essential Oil is wonderful for helping to calm the mind.  \Wonderful for workplaces where there is tension and dissent to assist with calming emotions and bring a sense of optimism into the atmosphere. Bergamot's light citrussy scent is calming yet uplifting.

Clary sage has long been a favourite when dealing with women’s issues. From painful periods to menopause

Not only has it been traditionally used for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, it’s also wonderful for a number of women’s health issues. It’s even considered by some to be an aphrodisiac.

Always welcome in a sleep potion for it's soporific effects. Wonderful to assist with anxiety and stress issues.

Whole Clove Esential Oil has been sed in dentistry for many years for its powerful antibacterial and  anaesthetic properties it has many uses in modern aromatherapy.

THE GENTLE EUCALYPTUS FOR ALL THE FAMILY

Chosen for its sweet scent, gentle yet highly potent effect, Eucalyptus Australiana is wonderful for everyone in the family. 
Eucalyptus Radiata is commonly known as “narrow-leaved Peppermint”. The young trees have oval bluish-green leaves while the mature trees develop long, narrow, yellowish leaves, creamy-white flowers and a smooth, pale grey bark.
