Here's what's happening at Moon Haven as we deal with the ramifications of Covid-19 in our community.
With Western Australia beginning to experience more Covid-19 cases and as the state begins to re-open we wanted to update you all on how we are dealing with the situation and the impacts it may have on Moon Haven and our services.
One Day at a Time
We are approaching the unfolding situation one day at a time. We're following the state and federal government's recommendations in regards to the health and safety of our team and you, our treasured moonies.
We hope that we will be able to continue to offer you our products both in the cottage and via our website as usual but are very aware that circumstances can change in an an instant.
Here are more details on the current measures we are taking:
At the Moon Haven Cottage
Our opening hours remain unchanged at this time.
10 am to 4 pm 7 days a week
10 am to 2 pm on Public Holidays
Of course if circumstances change and we are subject to a lockdown or we are required to close we will let you know on our website, Facebook and Instagram and via email to our subscribers.
Visiting the Cottage
We ask that all visitors to the cottage
- wear a mask
- sanitise or wash you hands on arrival (sanitiser is available at the sign in area or you may wash your hands at the copper basin with your favourite moon haven soap ;-)
- maintain social distancing while in the cottage.
- use contactless forms of payment if possible
- stay home if feeling unwell
Order Delivery Delays
Within Australia: Over the past months we have found that our orders are taking longer to arrive at their destination.
Unfortunately this is completely out of our control. We use Austpot's Express Post service so that your orders arrive as quickly as possible.
There are several factors that are contributing to these delays - especially to interstate and remote locations.
The main reasons for these delays are that flights across the country have significantly reduced and distancing protocols and isolation rules have limited the amount of staff in sorting facilities.
We know that everyone in the supply and delivery chain are doing their best to get our orders to you as fast and as efficiently as possible in the current circumstances.
International Delivery: We're finding that our orders for delivery overseas are experiencing very significant delays - so please consider this when placing your order.
We're all in this together and we're here to help you through.
