This deeply cleansing bar is loved by our moonies for the essential oils it contains.  Anti bacterial Tea Tree, Skin Soothing Patchouli and antiseptic Lavender. Combined with our skin smoothing organic green clay and you have an Aromatherapy bar soap that certainly packs a punch.

Our Tea Tree-t soap is wonderful to use all over in the shower, bath and basin.

  • Use a wash cloth, mitt or puff
  • You need just a little soap on a wash cloth, wash puff or mitt to get a good suds up. Of course you can use the soap bar directly on your body - you just might use the soap up a faster.
  • Keep your soap out of water and as dry as possible between uses. We recommend you use a soap rack, Eco Soap Saver Bag or Soap Saver Rack to help keep your soap as dry as possible

*The palm oil we use in our gorgeous soaps helps to keep the bar long lasting and stops it from becoming mushy when wet. Of course we are very environmentally conscious and use Segregated, Sustainable (SG) Palm Oil. 

What is Segregated Sustainable Palm oil you ask?

Segregated Sustainable Palm Oil is Certified Sustainable Palm Oil which is segregated from non-certified oil at every stage of the supply chain.

This means that the palm oil we use does not contribute to deforestation, the loss of rain forest. In fact, a percentage of every box of oil we purchase for soap making is contributed to helping to rehabilitate orangutans and their environment.

Australian Tea Tree is noted for its antibacterial, anti fungal and skin soothing properties while the Green French clay is great for clarifying and helping to clear troubled skin.
Gentle cleansing leads to a balanced skin and Moon Haven's Tea Tree-t is an ideal soap for just that!

At moon haven we absolutely adore essential oils extracted from Australian native plants. At the top of this list is Australian Tea Tree Essential Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia).

So it was a given that we always wanted to include a tea tree based soap in the moon haven soap collection. 

While tea tree oil has magnificent anti bacterial and anti-fungal properties we'd have to say its scent is not the most enticing. (We'd call it bracing!)

So the hunt was on for companion oils that would moderate the scent profile while still keeping tea trees amazing properties intact.

After much experimentation, trial and error, we settled on a formulation that paired patchouli and lavender oils with the tea tree essential oils.
The result - a wonderfully balanced but still strongly effective scent blend that is wonderful for acne prone, oily and unbalanced skin.
