We recommend that you wait until wounds have healed over before  applying and always ask your doctor when you can begin light massage... you don't want to start so early that you undo the good surgical work!
Massage should be light and gentle... there is no need to "break down'  the scar tissue. By gently massaging scar tissue you help mobilise the collagen which has gathered in the scar tissue.

THE SCAR CARE OIL STORY

Scar Care Oil was formulated to help soothe Leonie's own keloid scarring after a major operation. It worked so well that we just had to share it with our dedicated followers.

We use precious Italian Immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) essential oil for its rejuvenating and anti-inflammatory properties along with a stunning Bulgarian Lavender (lavendula angustifolia) essential oil for its cell regenerating and anti-inflammatory

With high quality rose hip oil to assist with refining scar tissue and beautiful Immortelle essential oil to assist with healing this oil is the perfect massage treatment for healing wounds.

While scar tissue is best dealt with early, this oil can still be helpful in the case of older scars... patience and perseverance is required in these cases but even old acne scars have been improved with massage.

Chanced upon this shop because the AirBnB we were staying at has their room spray & it smelt lovely. Decided to try the Scar Care Oil for my preggy tummy as i was having a lot of itch & spots.
