The comforting lemony scents of the Aussie bush has been captured in the bar of soapy goodness.

Inspired by the scents and sights of the local 'Boranup Forrest' this Lemon Myrtle and Eucalyptus blend is our most popular aromatherapy soap in the Moon Haven Cottage.

We just love making this soap... almost as much as our moonies love using it.Scented just like our Aussie bush this lemony eucalyptus pure essential oil soap is gentle enough to be used by toddlers and adult alike.

Lemon Myrtle essential oil is known for its powerful cleaning properties as it is antifungal and anti bacterial.Eucalyptus is wonderful for uplifting and cleansing the air.
Combine our lemon myrtle /eucalyptus scent blend will cleanse uplift and soothe.

We like to think that our soaps are living, breathing creatures sharing their beauty with the world.

And like any living creature, there are things we can do to help them share their best with you:

1. Don't drown your soap.  Store your soap on a well drained soap rack rather than an enclosed soap dish - unless you like soggy, squishy soap!
2. Allow your soap to breathe in between uses. The drier it gets, the longer it will last.
3. Use a wash cloth, bag or puff to extend the life of your soap rather than rubbing the bar all over yourself.
4.  Use your soap within 8 to 12 months of purchase to get the freshest, most vibrant experience. 
5. Share the love (and the soap scents) with your clothes.  Keep any extra bars of soap in your clothes drawers or linen closet and dive in when you need a fresh bar. You keep the soap away from light and heat and your clothes smell amazing!

*The palm oil we use in our gorgeous soaps helps to keep the bar long lasting and stops it from becoming mushy when wet. Of course we are very environmentally conscious and use Segregated, Sustainable (SG) Palm Oil. 

What is Segregated Sustainable Palm oil you ask?

Segregated Sustainable Palm Oil is Certified Sustainable Palm Oil which is segregated from non-certified oil at every stage of the supply chain.

This means that the palm oil we use does not contribute to deforestation, the loss of rain forest. In fact, a percentage of every box of oil we purchase for soap making is contributed to helping to rehabilitate orangutans and their environment.

THE SCENT OF MARGARET RIVER SOAP STORY

The bushland around the Margaret River Region is a recognised bio-diversity hotspot...none more so that the iconic Boranup Forest just south of Margaret River.

This is where Leonie, our aromatherapist,  would go st times to meditate and catch her inspirational breath.

It was during one such session that the idea to create an aussie bush soap  came to fruition.  You see it had just been raining and the forest smelt of lemony eucalyptus . 
After a little experimentation and quuite a few different formulations the Scent of Margaret River essential oil blend was born and soon after the soap became a reality.. 

BORN OF NECESSITY

Plagued by body pain, headaches, and skin issues from her autoimmune condition, our founder Leonie, refused to suffer in silence. When nothing worked, she turned to nature. Blending herbs and oils to create products that truly made a difference. Word spread, and Moon Haven was born.

Hi Ladies, Thank you for my second shipment of your lovely soaps. Although I havent been using these soaps for long I will say they are a wonderful product. They lather up well , have gorgeous perfumes & leave my skin soft & refreshed. Thank You also for the free offer of the Sack of Soap as well as the two bonus samples. My hubby who has very dry skin has tried Casablanca & he loves it so you're on a winner with that one & he even loves the colours.
Great product.. will be purchasing more , definitely recommend :)
