DIY- Kids Go-To Blend

One of my favourite blends is the one I recommend to parents of active kids.

I even recommend this blend for the class room to help calm children without making them all sleepy and sluggish.

It's perfect for after lunch when everyone is hyper alert from running around in the playground with the effects of lunch slowing them down about to come into effect.. It's tough time for teachers too!

While the recipe is super simple, its super effective too.
We're combining two of our very favourite oils - Lavender and Sweet Orange.

Lavender - Sweet Orange Essential Oils

AS we all know Lavender is wonderfully calming, Sweet Orange is gently uplifting.

In combination you can achieve a gently uplifting environment without over stimulating the children. Bliss!

Diffuse

The blend of lavender and essential oils are best diffused. I find this is the most effective delivery method with good results.

For a medium to large room I recommend starting off adding the following to your diffuser:

This combination will give you a balanced and calming atmosphere for several hours.

Proportions

I recommend you experiment with the proportions to get the scent and effect you're looking for.
Use less lavender if you'd like to encourage creativity and engagement, less sweet orange if you're looking to encourage relaxation.

I hope this helps.
