Baggy, puffy eyes definitely adds years to your visual age. This extremely simple treatment will not only visibly reduce the puffiness beneath your eyes, it will also give you a much needed 5 to 10 minutes of chill out time.
How does it work?
Green Tea contains caffeine. Caffeine is known to reduce blood flow through the small blood vessels just below the skin. This in turn helps to reduce puffiness and lighten those stubborn dark circles beneath your eyes.
Raw potatoes contain a natural starch that is highly anti-inflammatory. This is great news for puffy eye sufferers as the potato starch with help reduce inflammation and assist with lymph drainage of the area.
½ cup strong Green Tea
2 thin slices Raw Potato with the skin on
- Place the green tea in a small bowl
- Add the slices of potato
- Chill in the fridge for 2 hours
- When ready find a comfy couch where you can lay back.
- Have a towel ready to catch any drips
- Remove the potato slices from the green tea…;ie on the couch and place slices over your closed eyes
- Rest for 5 to 10 minutes
- Remove potatoes and rinse with cool water
- Pat dry and notice the difference.
